    it works beacuse you pumped out all the oil after you do that check the oil level and refill then see if it worked

    hey i just bought a crf 450r 2006 one of the seals is leaking…the front forks are also extremely stiff, do you think its from the forks not having any oil?

    I didnt know about this tool so I used an old film negative, the plastic is about the same thickness and it works great.

    To claen my fork seals I just got an old film negative that I didnt need anymore and cut it to about the same shape as the one in the video.

    thanks for the video! i didnt have that tool, but i dis use a small thin plastic from a folder and did the job!! it cost me 4min of tutorial and to cut a piece of plastic from an old folder.. thanks!!

    The old school way of doing this was to use photograph film negative – How times change.

    Great video but you forgot to clean out the dust seal! and it is a good thing to put water proof grease in the dust seal before installing it, that way it will prevent sand and what not from going in the seal next time, so once in a while pull down your dust seal and clean out the sandy grease.
